Ashlee's wedding

Well, my sister got married 2 weeks ago. It was a great day for her and all of us. Lots of great advice in her sealing ceremony. He talked about loving our imperfect spouse, perfectly. It was very eloquent but that was the jest that I remember. So here are the pics in no particular order (cuz I never figure that out).

Decorating the cars. I say cars because when my sister Brittany got married, we forgot or assumed their friends decorated the car (Brit is usually the instigator on this and plus we had kids at that point and were preoccupied.) So she has always been upset about this so we decorated their car too and said "Still Married" on the windows. It was pretty funny. They got a kick out of it. But sadly they flew in to town and it was Adam's parents car.

I got this cake for Randon and he was surprised that I got if for him, he said something like, "wow, that's awesome." ( It was a big one)

The sisters.

My family. (I wish someone would've told me my feet looked like that)

Joelle was so entranced by Ashlee and her dress. She loves weddings. She wanted a picture with her, it was cute.

My crazy family at the luncheon. After that we took the kids to Grandpa and Grandma Atkin's house just a mile away. We were able to enjoy the reception!

This is a random one after I cut the boys hair. Aren't they so handsome?

Arm update

We went into Primary Childrens to the fracture clinic where they x-rayed Todd's arm again. The Dr said he was healing well and they usually just keep babies in slings for 2 weeks so we can take his sling off! Yeah! She said babies are made of rubber and heal fast. I don't know who is more excited, me or Todd. He has loved being able to move freely, still a little shaky on it, which they said would happen and if he isn't back to normal within a week to come back. So that is the update with us. I'm so glad they didn't have to cast it because it has been a rough week and a half.

Broken Arm

Poor Todd broke his arm on Saturday night while we were on a date and I guess he had fallen. Sunday morning he just wasn't crawling right and seemed fussier than normal. We went to church and after we decided we should take him in. We went to Primary Childrens hospital and his exam (and the ones Jon had done on him) he was fine. They would poke and push all over his arm and he never cried. So they said, "Based on your story we'll do an X-ray just in case but he seems fine." And sure enough he had a brake at the top of his humorous bone under the shoulder. So he has to wear this sling and I have to wrap in around his body. Then next Wed. I go to an orthapedic office to a fracture clinic and see what to do permanently. I don't know if they will cast it or not. I'll keep you posted.

He's just so happy. This is this morning when he woke up. The nice thing is we can take it off for him to sleep.

Just the sling. Isn't it cute? So little.

See, so happy.

This is what I found one nap time. Randon got in with Todd and he had also destroyed our cute changing table fabric. I was so mad at him. But first when i found him it was cute.

Logan + Winter hiking

Here's a few pics from our trip to Logan on Christmas. I have a bunch of pictures in my email of opening presents but here are some. When we got back we had a family night that we went through our 72- hour kits to update everything and after that Joelle wanted to go on a hike. She packed her backpack and kept asking to go. So I took her up the canyon and we hiked on the road. She had a ball, Randon didn't love it. I had to wait for him and tell Joelle to wait up. He kept wanting me to hold him, so some of the time I had him in my arms and Todd on my back. (I don't know why it's underlined).

Grandpa Tom with 3 of the babies.

Taylor, me, Ashlee, and Brit went to Beaver and skiied and snowboarded.

Here's our hike. She loves to explore. This is her climbing up the mountain.

Christmas!!

The cookies for Santa and Rudolph.

Coming down the stairs.

The kids with the new toys.
One big hit was the Tag pens they loved them. Joelle loved her new doll bed too. I think they both loved Todd's ball popper the best.

The stockings.

I just liked this one of Todd.

The new Christmas Eve jammies.

Twin Falls

We went to Twin Falls right after the Shepherd party. I realized also that I forgot the kids' suitcase with all their clothes so we borrowed from my sister and sister-in-law (thanks guys). We had a fun time there with Joe and Ashley and their family who we haven't seen in a long time.

We went to Uncle Tom's work and watched a show on the ceiling. The kids loved it.

Opening presents.

Shepherd Christmas Party

We got together with my Mom's side of the family for our annual Christmas party. It was great fun and Mom was amazing in the planning. We had a Polar Express theme, got on a "train", read the book, had hot chocolate and donuts served by the men, then Santa came. The kids loved it. Randon especially kept talking to Santa when other kids were on his lap. "Hey Santa, this is Joella", "Hey Santa, I'm Randon." Then he kept saying, "Santa talked to ME! He was so excited.
We had the party at my brother-in-law's granite shop. They have ping-pong, pickle ball and bikes. It was perfect. I don't think they work there, just play (jk Blake). It's always fun to get together with the fam.

All of the grandkids and great grandkids.

We hadn't rehearsed what they wanted (how could I have forgotten this, I already picked stuff out so I didn't bother, she didn't know what to say, then all of a sudden she wanted all these new things. I should've rethought this.)

Not sure what to think.

Around the world ping pong.

Having the time of their lives.
