Ward Campout

The kids and I went to the ward campout by Fairview. Jon stayed home and studied, we missed him but had a lot of fun. The kids loved the tent and we went horseback riding, mountain biking (me) and they had an awesome zip line. Here's some pictures. Joelle said, "Mom, this is fun." She liked it.
They are both filthy! but they had fun.

He loved the dirt!

I can't believe they all smiled at the same time!

Randon in the morning.

Our neighbor John Wald with Randon. He didn't know what to think, although the whole time while we waited, he kept saying, "horsie, horsie."

Joelle loved it.

Happy 3rd Birthday Joelle!

On Tues we had a butterfly birthday party for Joelle, her choice with a few friends. She loved it I think and was quite into the presents this year. it was funny to watch all the kids watch with such anitcipation. They were so crowded around her and we couldn't get them to sit down. It was cute. Here are some pics.

My neighbor does wedding cakes and just finished a mozaic one for her brother and had this left over stuff. So she designed the wings and I got the idea online on how to do the cake. Pretty cool looking huh and it was nummy.

She loved it.

Makenna, Joelle's cousin. No room at the table.

We were making butterfly masks. Randon was having a hay day.

I meant to take a picture of all the girls with their masks but forgot. She got these jammies and loves them. The next morning when she woke up she came in with her new doll in her bed and her new stuffed dog, happy as a clam. It was cute. I can't believe how time flies. She has grown so fast. I'm so glad she is in our family as the oldest to pave the way for the rest.

Pictures of the kids.

My friend and I took some pictures of the kids for their 1 year (little late) and 3 year pics. I think I need some more of Joelle but there are so many for Randon that might work. Let me know what you think.

Fun in the sun.

We got back from Lake Powell on Sat. It was a blast. We went with 3 other families from our ward that we went with last year. It is becoming quite the tradition. We stayed on a house boat and I still have sea legs and feel like i'm rocking. But it was so great and fun to have Jon there this year. He started his rotations yesterday so it was one last hoorah before he started. We loved it. Here are some pictures of our trip.
Boats are awesome for putting the kids to sleep. That's where we were at nap times.

Dad and Joelle out on a raft.

Funny face Joelle.

Jon was amazing. This was his first time wake boarding and skiing (slolam-sp) and he got up on the second or so time. He was getting so good at wake boarding that he was landing jumps. It was very impressive. He's already better than me and i've been doing it for years.

My handsome men.

this trampoline is pretty fun to play on. Last year my friend amy and i wrestled on it. Good times.

Me wake boarding.

Christmas card?!

I love to see the temple.

We went to Twin Falls to the temple open house a couple weeks ago. It was georgous and such neat stories about missionary experiences. It is fun to see members of other faiths come through. You can't help but feel the spirit there and I'm so glad that ID has another temple. It was fun to take our kids in. Joelle was excited and loved it.

The beautiful Shoshone Falls. There is a 4 wall mural (sp) in the creation room of the temple of these falls and other scenic places around the area. It was so pretty.

We met my grandparents there and had a picnic with Jon's mom too.
