Little Red Riding Hood

I rode in my first century bike ride with my friends. It was through Cache valley and was so beautiful. It was a long ride but we did it and it was really fun to have a weekend with the girls. What we do for some time away from kids. The first 50 went by really fast. Then the next 25 were the hardest for me but after that break I was better. We did a pace line for most of it and that was pretty fun, my first time doing that. It was a really well supported ride with tons of food. We'll do it again for sure.

There are lots who dress up so we did these cute pony tails for our helmets.

Tricia and Amy
These are a little out of order, this was at the 75 miles break. We laid on that grass for a bit.

The finish with super woman. Such a fun all girl ride.

Bear Lake!

The Lewis family went to Bear Lake for Memorial day. It was quite cold while we were there but beautiful and fun none the less. Ashlee and I rode our bikes around the lake! It was freezing but fun. We hiked, went to Minetonka cave (I need to get pics of that from Brit) and played on the beach. The lake was freezing but the kids had a ball in the pools of water on the shore.

In heaven

Having a contest who could stay in the longest. I can't remember who won. Probably Blake, he didn't think it was cold.

Day out with Thomas!

Every time I would say, "Randon, look at Mom." He would turn and say, "cheese". He was so enthralled with everything.

I took Randon out to a Day out with Thomas in Heber. He loved it. He loved riding on Thomas, that was his favorite part. It was a great date with Mom.

Spew of posts.

I am playing major catch up. I want to do a book out of my blog so I want to post our major and unmajor events. Here are some random pictures. I am almost caught up, just need to get two more ready from memorial day weekend, I might do it now but I've been on the computer way to long already. I will probably wait.

Always have to have a tubby picture. They love to bathe in our tub.

This has been a huge project and why I haven't posted for a while. It's mostly done now but I (Jon has worked through most of this and I was determined to have a garden) dug up all this grass and then we tilled it and had to try and get a lot of dirt out of the sod. But we have planted things now so I am excited. Hopefully we will have as a productive a garden as we did in West Jordan.

Grandpa's 90th birthday!

We went to Twin Falls for Jon's maternal Grandpa's 90th birthday party. It was great to see everyone and we are so grateful for such wonderful ancestors.

Cousins having fun with Uncle Richard.

Randon turns 3!

On May 4 Randon turned 3. Lots of birthdays this spring, mine, Todd's and Randon's within a month. Speaking of my birthday, I never posted anything about it. My sweet friend made us dinner because Jon worked that night. My Mom came to visit and Jon is getting me lasik eye surgery! Yeah! I was so excited and then learned that I had to wait 3 months after nursing:( Ah well.
Randon is so fun to watch open gifts. He gets so excited about them and has the best expressions. He didn't even eat his cake because he wanted to play with his toys. Here he is playing with some of them.

Still into Thomas. This blanket turns into a snuggie of sorts. Too funny.

Our baby is 1!

April 18th, Todd turned 1, the day we got home from Vegas. So we had cake and ice cream at Mom and Dad's. He got a baby swing, which he loves. I need to snap a picture of him in it, he loves being outside. He is such a funny boy with more personality growing all the time. He is sweet, coy, feisty, stubborn, and a joy all in one. He learns a lot from his siblings, namely, "no", "don't". It starts so early the more kids you have. We love him and are so glad he is in our family. Here is the cake eating progression. He is timid at first and then gets more into it.

Nummy!

A little R&R in Vegas.

I told Jon to sign up for a conference so I could go with him. So we went to Vegas. I hung out by the pool most the time while he was in meetings. I wish he could have rested more but it was a great weekend for us. And much needed. We haven't seen much of him lately. Thanks to my parents and sisters for taking the kids. I weened Todd just in time to be kid-free.

One of my favorite parts of Vegas. It made me want to watch Oceans 11.

We got awesome student tickets to Lion King from Jon's friend from high school. We went out to dinner with him and a friend. No pics though. It was a fun show, the kids would've loved it.

The view of the hotel, or half of it from the pool. It was a fancy smancy hotel. We couldn't afford to stay the last night after our conference rate went away. We didn't take pictures of the Sahara because it looked to white trash compared to this.

Our view from our room.

The R&R

Easter!

Better late than never right? Here's some pics to document Easter. It was a lovely conference Sunday for us. I love this time of year.

Somewhat matching hats.

New church clothes, I never did get a picture of them in them, I need to do that.

He loved shaking the eggs. He loved it even more when he found out what was in them.

Whole wheat cinnamon rolls! Nummy.
