Life at home

Things have been great at home. I've had so much family help. My family watched the kids while we were in the hospital and Jon's stepmom and mom have come to stay with us. They have been and are a huge help (his Mom just got here). Thanks so much to everyone.

I just thought this was funny.

She loves to hold him and he loves to look at her.

Welcome home! He's so happy.

It's official... we're outnumbered.

Here's some pics of the kids coming to the hospital. My parents and sisters have been watching the kids since last Thurs. It's been so nice and I'm so grateful that they did that. Thanks guys. We are getting so much help and support and Jon even gets 2 weeks off, it worked out perfectly.

This picture of the family cracks me up. Here's our new life.

We had a baby!

BOY! Todd Edison was born at 3:45pm on April 18. Everything went great. I am so lucky to have such smooth deliveries. Jon got to help deliver him which was fun. He weighed 7 lbs 10 oz, 21 1/2 inches long. I'm so glad to not be pregnant anymore and heis such a cutie. Lot's of dark hair. Let's see if he keeps it! The kids went to Tremonton on Thursday night so it was great to just come to the hospital. I was dialated to a 7 when we got here, which was surprising to us, I was worried that I was having false labor. I was having steadier contractions at 11 and came to the hospital at noon and he was born at 3:45. I would have had him earlier but they waited to break my water until more staff came. As soon as they broke it I pushed through 2 contractions and he was here with the cord around his neck twice. He was struggling to get used to the new environment so they took him to the NICU for 30 minutes and then he was fine. He's been great and it's so fun to have him here.

Easter and some

I cut Randon's hair today. Here he is.

We actually celebrated easter on the 5th because Jon was on call all night Sat. night and had to sleep at the hospital so he wasn't here easter morning. But Sat. night we had a party at my aunt's house and had an egg hunt and dinner.

Great grandkids plus Aelyn in matching outfits my mom got them. She had back surger and couldn't be there. But thanks for the clothes Mom.

WE missed you.

Dividing the spoils.

About to start.

I forgot to post this one on my birthday. We got chinese and Randon wanted to eat with chopsticks. He did pretty good with his cake. All that with one stick!

Body paint in the tub.

finding eggs "easter morning'.

I love this one of Joelle's hair.

The baskets.

Coloring eggs during conference Sat morning.

Birthday festivities

For my birthday last Monday I took the kids to the children's museum, (discovery museum?) with my old room mate Rachelle. She got us in with her pass, thanks again Rachelle. The kids loved it. Here's some of the stuff we did. there was so much to do I didn't get pics of everything.
In the evening Jon ordered take out and baked me a cake. It was a great birthday.

Jolle in the toddler section, I didn't realize this for little bit but they had fun still. this is right before Randon pooped his pants and I didn't have a diaper. But at least it was the end right.

The helicopter on the roof.

Randon was in heaven. At first he was scared of the simulated noise like it was taking off, but then he was loving it. I don't know the 2 kids in the middle but the one on the other end is Rachelle's son Andrew.

Randon cheering or something.

Lizzy and Joelle driving the helicopter. They had so much fun together.

The water table. Randon could've stayed here all day. Look at that concentration.

The ball area.

Bad sign?

Is it a bad sign when I make popcorn or some kind of treat, Joelle says, "Mom, don't eat it all." ?Worried that she won't get anymore. Kind of sad I guess. Oh well.
So I have 2 weeks left. Now it's just the wait and aniticipation of when and how it's going to come. But I'm feeling good and things are great here.
