It's been a while..

since I've posted. Here's why. Last week for several days I babysat 2-3 kids from 7:15 am to 4:45 pm. It was a pretty exhausting week and I have a new respect for my Mom who watched several kids everyday as her job. I think I would have gone nuts. But it was a good experience and I am glad I was able to help someone out. So many people help me out when I go to work.
Jon and I also had primary and elders quorum activities last Sat that we were in charge of and they turned out well. And this weekend is the 4th street triathlon. The proceeds go to a health center for those who aren't insured. I'm a little nervous but it will be fun. It's a mountain bike instead of road bike and my friends and I went and did the course last week. It was fun to be up in the mountains and to get on my mountain bike before the race, that wouldn't have been too pretty.
Jon just has a week and a day before he's done for the semester and then just one more summer semester before clinicals! He got up and 1am last night/this morning to study for a final. That's how most Sunday nights have been due to Monday tests.
That's the update for now. Until next time...

So You Think You Can Dance!

So here are the videos of our dancing fun. At the end is just a funny one of the kids dancing and me spinning my niece Onnika on the floor. She really was enjoying it, I promise.
I'll put up a poll and you can vote on your favorite dance.

The hip-hopopotomus's (hip-hop)

Charlie's Angel's (the charleston)

The Ruby Renegades (contemporary?)

Happy Weekend

Over the weekend we went to Driggs, ID to my family's lodge to listen to conference and be together. There was a ton of snow as you can see from the pics. But it was fun none the less. You could just walk on top of it. My camera is on the fritz so I'm getting my pictures from my sisters. Here's the few that I've gotten. We played a little rendition of "So You Think You Can Dance" and we split up in groups and choreographed (sp) some dances. They were so fun. So keep watching for those. There were only 2 men up there and they were good sports for doing it with all us girls.

Mickey Mouse

It was my b-day on Sun and Jon was very sweet and made me cake. I thought I was getting old with all those candles but there were 40 candles because he had to spell 'babe'. It was a great day.

Look at all that smoke!

More video and photos from the slumber party

I was having technical difficulties so I couldn't post these with the other ones. But here's some cute ones of the girls dancing and arguing about dresses vs. skirts. It's pretty funny. And some cute pics of Randon and Natalie too, they had a slumber party in his room, different beds. Natalie wasn't too thrilled to be in the crib with him.

Joelle's First Slumber Party

Last night we watched Elizabeth and Natalie (Jon's brother's kids). Here is what happens when you get 2 princesses together...and Jon.

Sorry the positioning in this video does change. It's just really funny so I had to put it in. He is wearing one of Joelle's skirts I made her for Christmas.

Special edition of the Ensign

I have been reading the special edition of the Ensign for March. It is all about the Savior. It is such a good resource to have in the home and there are so many great articles in it. We used it Easter morning and looked at pictures with the kids. It has been so wonderful learning and having my testimony strengthened of my Savior. I'm so grateful to Him and all He has done for me. I know He lives. Everyone should read this magazine. You can go to this website SpecialMagazine.lds.org.

Easter Pics

Last week was Jon's spring break so I haven't been on the computer much. We all loved having Dad home for a while. Grandma Marsha also came to visit and we had fun with her and went to Joe and Ashley's house to play games with family. We had a great time playing music catch phrase. We had an easter egg hunt at my Grandma's and colored eggs. Joelle had a fun time finding the eggs, especially because they had candy in them.
Goodness, there isn't much new with us besides that we are looking for some people to rent upstairs. Anyone interested? It's a really nice place.
Thanks for all the lost addresses and new ones too. When I have some time I'll try doing a new background.

Joelle loving finding eggs.

Dad and Randon watching. Randon doesn't look like he's enjoying very much. He wants some candy too.
