Goodies, goodies, goodies.

We've been enjoying Christmas festivities. Last Sat. Jon took Joelle shopping for presents and Randon and Mom stayed home, had popcorn and watched Thomas the train episodes. He was in heaven. Sunday for dinner we had red crepes. They were pretty yummy. And last night for family home evening we made ginger bread houses with our upstairs neighbors. We did this last year with some other neighbors so decided to make it a tradition. We baked the house and did the frosting. I was nervouse it wouldn't turn out but it worked pretty well. It was a good time. The kids just wanted to eat all the candy. Especially Randon. I tried giving him pretzels after he had inhaled a lot of treats, but he just pushed them away or shoved them down in the seat of his high chair. It was pretty funny.

Here's the back of the finished product right before Randon fell off the chair. Mine and Randon's? (he didn't really help) is the left and Jon and Joelle's the right.

The front.

In the making.

Red crepes.

Oh yeah, sugar cookies. Joelle helped.

Randon with his popcorn and watching the trains.

Here comes Santa Claus

We had our ward christmas party last weekend and Santa came. Joelle actually liked it this year. Randon didn't want to sit on his lap but wanted the candy cane. So we did it from a distance.

Christmas tree hunting and decorating

I am nearly done with all my Christmas shopping! Yeah, now I can really enjoy the holidays without being stressed. Here are the pictures of us in the mountains cutting the tree down. And after decorating, I didn't get to take pictures while we did it because Jon was studying and I had to keep Randon from taking down all the ornaments. He's better now though, I trained him:)

These are kind of backwards but here's the final product.

Joelle was pitching a fit and we were watching her friend Mallory so this is what we got.

We cut down 5 trees for us and others. It was awesome.

Thanksgiving festivities!

We went to Logan over the weekend for a family get together. We had a lot of fun and were able to catch up with all the Atkins. We watched the sad Byu vs Utah game, played our own football game and ate a lot of nummy food, thanks mainly to Lorna. I also cut down our Christmas tree with my Dad and sisters up in Preston, ID. I love that tradition and the tree is great. We decorated it tonight. The kids loved getting the new stuff out. I think it is going to be a little more challenging with Randon and the ornaments, so I'm trying to train him not to touch.

Going for a walk. The little kids needed to get out. Our group is really growing.

A bunch of the kids watching a movie during the game. Didn't last long for the little ones.

Our football game. Good times.

For thanksgiving day, we went to my uncle Mitch and aunt Morag's house with my Gram and uncle Arlen. We had a great time playing games and good food, but no pictures.

Late snowman pictures

This is the snowman we built when it snowed the other day. I wish I would have taken a picture when it was leaning all the way over while melting.
